McCoy’s Building Supply Announces Expansion to Spicewood, TX

McCoy’s Building Supply recently poured the foundation for a new store at 23400 TX 71 W Spicewood, TX near the corner of Pace Bend Road. Opening is projected for Summer 2022.

The new Spicewood store will continue McCoy’s tradition of providing an exceptional customer service experience from its friendly, knowledgeable staff and supplying high-quality building materials for a wide range of building projects. The new facility will serve builders, remodelers, do-it-yourselfers and the farm and ranch community. McCoy’s is a proud sponsor of Texas FFA, 4-H and the Texas High School Rodeo Association and carries a selection of farm and ranch equipment. 

“McCoy’s has been serving the Austin area since we opened our first store there in 1969,” shares Phil Hutchinson, Real Estate Manager. “We believe in Austin and are excited for the continued growth and success of the Central Texas area.”

Construction is expected to take 30 weeks with Embree Group of Georgetown, TX, serving as the general contractor on the project. The design of the store will reflect similar updated features of McCoy’s stores in Liberty Hill and Bay City, TX, with a spacious interior retail area, a paved lumberyard and a large drive-through lumber storage area.
