McCoy’s Building Supply recently announced the appointment of Ray Gabriel to Vice President of Information Services.
Gabriel, a graduate of the University of Texas San Antonio, has been with McCoy’s for nearly 20 years. He began his career as an assistant store manager before moving to headquarters and joining the IS Department. He worked in several roles with a steadily increasing level of leadership related to software upgrades, application enhancements and hardware changes. Gabriel served as Director of Information Services before his promotion.
“Throughout his tenure, Ray has shown care and concern for our customers and team members. He also has helped implement many projects that have supported the growth of the company,” said Joanne Corum, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. “I know Ray will continue to have a huge impact on our future.”
“I’m excited about taking a larger role in corporate-level and strategic planning projects. I look forward to engaging even more with our stores and discovering opportunities to bring them continued success,” said Gabriel. “I’m also excited about working with our internal business units and partners to help make our operational activities and processes more efficient while still providing the highest level of support.”
